A THREE car collision causing the A590, at Newlands Garage, near Ulverston, to be blocked for over an hour has been cleared.
An elderly woman who was in a Skoda Fabia required treatment at the scene but no one else was injured.
Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service were called at 1.28pm to the scene and used chocks to free the woman from the car.
Cumbria Police attended the incident which also included a Kendal man who had been travelling in a Vauxhall Passat
The Highways Agency were called to the scene to clean up a diesel spillage.
