Kendal Boys Brigade is 30 years young
THE 1ST Kendal Parish Church Company celebrated its 30th anniversary this week.
Mums and dads joined their children for the festivities at Kendal Parish Church, where new priest-in-charge Rob Saner-Haigh and company chaplain Rev Ashley Henderson gave the address.
The original 1st Kendal Boys Brigade was established in 1897, but was disbanded when both world wars came along.
It was formed in its current guise on October 7 1980 by Mike and Maureen Mason.
