STAFF at Natland and Oxenholme Pre-school have begun the New Year with a bang following the outcome of their recent Ofsted inspection.
The pre-school, which cares for 46 children at Natland Village Hall every week, was graded ‘good’ by inspector Jany Wyncoll who found that children were ‘confident, enthusiastic and very well cared for’.
Manager Julie Hunter said: “The day couldn’t have gone any better. The inspector had nothing but praise for our setting. The staff team have all worked very hard in supporting me in this my first year as manager and we couldn’t be happier.”
In her report Ms Wyncoll praised ‘dedicated’ pre-school staff for their close relationships with children, parents and carers and in the engagement category they were graded as outstanding.
