Crews tackle sports pavilion fire at Heversham

TWO fire crews spent nearly three hours tackling a blaze which engulfed a disused South Lakeland sports pavilian yesterday evening.
They were called to the building on Woodhouse Lane, Heversham, shortly after 6pm, to find it well alight.
After extinguishing the fire, the crews returned to their bases at 8.57pm.
