Roadworks planned for the A590 as £250,000 resurfacing projects get under way

DRIVERS will face roadworks on the A590 around Ulverston and Lindale Hill this week as two re-surfacing projects get underway.
Resurfacing will take place eastbound on the dual carriageway of the A590 Lightburn Road between Princes Street and Daltongate west of Ulverston. Temporary traffic lights will be in place until March 7 while the £133,000 project gets under way.
And both lanes of the carriageway at Lindale Hill will be resurfaced as part of a 123,000 scheme.
Off-peak single lane closures will be in place between noon and 8pm and a 50mph speed limit will be in place. Work should be completed by March 1.
