Ulverston Police continue to investigate assault

ULVERSTON Police are appealing for information following an assault in the town.
The incident happened between 3am to 3:45am on Friday (April 13) in Watery Lane, Ulverston.
A 46-year-old man was making his way home from an Ulverston Town Centre Pub. He alleged he was assaulted by two younger men in Watery Lane.
The two male suspects are described as being in their twenties, 5’10”, skinny build, wearing no top, short cropped brown hair that was slightly longer on top. The second was 5’6”, cropped short fair hair, wearing glasses & a sky blue top, the victim believed this second male had a funny leg, which appeared to be false.
The victim sustained a bruised swollen right eye and swelling and reddening to his forehead. The first male suspect may have sustained an eye injury.
Following police enquiries, these two males are believed to have been in a group that night, and the police would like to speak to the people who they were with. These people are described as: • Male aged 20, 5'4" tall, average build with blue jeans and a stripped top, short dark gelled hair. He had a broken leg with a pot on and was using a crutch.
• Male aged 20, 5'5" tall, well built with short hair, wearing all white top and jacket.
• Male aged 20, 5'7" tall, skinny, wearing a dark top, blue jeans with dark hair • Male aged 20, 5'5" tall, skinny with glasses, who had a tattoo "made in cumbria" on the back of his neck, he had a possible ailment with an eye and walking, which impaired his movement.
• Male aged around 24-25, around 5'8" tall, dark medium length hair and wearing a dark suit trousers, dark t-shirt and lighter jacket, almost sky blue in colour.
Police would like to speak to the people described as they may be able to help with their enquiries.
