Appeal after attempted car theft in Ulverston

POLICE are investigating after a man was spotted trying to steal a car at Ulverston.

The incident happened at Leece at 4am on Wednesday morning when a man where grey and white combat clothing and carrying a rucksack allegedly broke into a Peugeot 207 parked on a driveway.

The man was seen trying but failing to start the car, and then fleeing the scene.
