Dog kills lamb and worries sheep in Langdale

A DOG has killed a lamb and been spotted worrying sheep in Langdale.
Police are investigating after the incident, which took place near Blea Tarn, at 11am, on Sunday, July 8.
Officers said the dog was a brown husky-type dog and was called Kia by his owners, who have not come forward.
They would like to speak to a female walker seen at the time and two tarn swimmers.
Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Neil Danby, at Windermere Police, on non-emergency number 101.
