Missing walker found safe by rescue team

A MAN who went missing in the Greenup Edge area was found safe and well by Kendal Mountain Rescue Team late last night.
Langdale and Ambleside’s rescue team was also involved in the search after the man’s walking companion reported they had become separated and he was overdue to arrive in Grasmere.
The pair had been walking from Borrowdale and there was concern over the missing man’s health and state of his footwear.
He was located in Wythburn and escorted off the hill close to midnight.
