Mountain rescue team helps 'fitting' man in Kentmere Valley

Kendal Mountain Rescue Team came to the aid of a man who had a fit at a remote spot near the top of the Kentmere Valley in the early hours of Friday morning.

The team was paged by the police to assist the North West Ambulance Service on the call out at Reservoir Cottage just after 3.30am.

The rescue team transported two paramedics up the track by Land Rover and took them, the casualty and his companion back down to a waiting ambulance at Hartrigg.
