A paralympian is coming to Cumbria to inspire young people to use their passions to overcome their problems.

The handcyclist was paralysed from the chest down after falling from a a cliff but the 21-year-old was determined not to let her condition get the better of her and within four years of her accident trekked over the Himalayas on a 1200-mile trip.
Karen will be competing at the games on September 5 and will speak at Cumbria Partnership NHS Foundation Trust’s Annual Members Meeting lon September 26.
