COLLISION: emergency services on the scene
A 75-year-old biker from Ulverston has been flown to hospital after a crash on Sedbergh Road, Kendal. The motorbike collided with a 4x4 vehicle at 11am on Thursday (August 30). The motorcyclist and his female passenger both suffered injuries to their lower body. Police, fire crews and a North West Air Ambulance, all attended the accident. The driver and passengers in the car were not injured. Anyone with information should call police on 101 and ask for PC Graham.
