Police appeal after Lake District pub incident

POLICE investigating a disturbance which spilled from the street into a Lake District pub have appealed for witnesses.
Officers said an ‘incident’ occurred outside the Yewdale Hotel in Coniston, before the disorder continued in the Black Bull pub between 8pm and 8.20pm on Friday (September 7).
A Cumbria Police spokesman said a number of people were present at the time and that officers were keen to speak to witnesses who saw the behaviour of the people involved.
No other details about the altercation were released.
