Unlocked home in Windermere burgled

POLICE are urging people to be vigilant after a house in Windermere was burgled while the owners at home.
Thieves entered the house between 10.30am and 11am on Saturday in the Storrs Park area through the unlocked front door and took ‘property’ from the front of the house, police said.
Anyone who witnessed any suspicious behaviour in the area at the time should contact PC Dave Barnes on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
