Woman stretchered down Grasmere valley after fall

A WOMAN had to be stretchered off a Grasmere fell after injuring her leg.
Thirteen members of Ambleside and Langdale Mountain Rescue Team helped move the woman down the valley, in a three-hour rescue mission, at 3pm yesterday.
She was taken to hospital with a suspected lower leg fracture.
