Water supply lost to 130 homes around Endmoor will be back shortly

THE water supply for more than 100 homes in and around Endmoor and Crooklands was lost this morning after a pipe burst.
United Utilities said most of the homes affected had their supply returned earlier today with the remaining 28 properties affected expected to have water in the next hour.
A spokesman for the company said: "A water main under the A65 close to the Texaco garage burst at around 7am.
"We have a team on site at the moment repairing the main. Within the next hour or so everyone should have their water back.
"We had 130 calls this morning and we did manage to get most of them back on by using a big water tanker to pump in the supply."
