Man injured while cycling in Grizedale Forest yesterday

FOURTEEN members of Coniston Mountain Rescue Team were scrambled after a man fell while cycling in Grizedale.

The man suffered an a leg inhury during the accident while he was mountain biking on the North Face Trail in Grizedale Forest on Sunday afternoon.

The man was treated by Paramedics from North West Ambulance Service and Team members for a lower leg injury and staken to Furness General Hospital, Barrow in Furness.
