Police appeal to find driver who left scene of accident

Police are appealing to drivers who were in the Troutbeck area between Penrith and Keswick on Friday who may have witnessed a car drive off after an accident.
A black vehicle travelling west bound along the A66 by the Sportsman's Inn was seen to overtake a line of traffic, forcing oncoming vehicles to brake.
One car had to swerve onto the other side of the road where it collided with a crash barrier. The incident happened around 4.50pm.
The driver of the black vehicle then left the scene without stopping, continuing towards Keswick.
