Woman hurt in Bolton-le-Sands crash

A WOMAN had to be cut from her car by firecrews this morning, following a collision in Bolton le Sands.

Two cars - a Citroen C3 and a Land Rover - were involved in the incident, which took place near Hawthorns Restaurant on Slyne Road shortly before 10am.

The woman is not thought to have sustained serious injuries but was taken to the Royal Lancaster Infirmary for treatment. Two other people suffered minor injuries.

Witnesses are asked to contact Lancashire Police on 08451-25-35-45.
