A TRAIN derailment at Carnforth station caused widespread delays on the Furness and West coast lines yesterday (July 20) morning.
Twenty-three trains were cancelled and an extra 89 were delayed for around half an hour each after a train left the tracks during engineering work at around 8:20am on Sunday morning.
Nobody was injured in the incident.
