Plans for expansion of Dallam school approved

AN accommodation block with room for 50 students will be built at Dallam School following a council decision today.

South Lakeland District Council planning committee voted to approve the three-storey block, which will be built at the school’s Haversham site.

The council voted despite six letters of objection to the plans, including one from Haversham Parish Council who said the development was part of a much larger plan for the school.
