North Lancashire residents robbed in their own home

RAIDERS have stormed a home in North Lancaster holding the occupants hostage while stealing personal items.
Four or more burglars entered the house in Halton, at around 6pm yesterday.
They held the occupants in a single room and searched the house, stealing valuables, before escaping.
One resident suffered head injuries, but they are not deemed to be in a serious condition.
Police are appealing for witnesses who saw anything suspicious in Halton around the time of the raid to call 01524 63333.
