I'm a senior news and sports reporter for the Gazette and during the football season act as the correspondent for Kendal Town FC and the Westmorland Football League.
I help on the sports desk to cover most sporting stories along with sports editor Richard Daniels.
When I'm not working on sport I help source stories for the South Lakes Citizen.
I moved to Kendal eight months ago having worked for the Skegness Standard for two and a half years.
I have a BA Hons degree in Journalism Studies from the University of Sunderland and passed my NCE in November.
I was born in Nottingham and moved to Northern Ireland when I was seven.
I left school at 18 before returning to England.
I have since lived in Sunderland, Leeds and Skegness.
