The Cumbrian-based Westmorland Family of businesses, which owns and operates Tebay Services, has won the prestigious Observer Food Monthly “Best Newcomer” award for its newly opened Gloucester Services on M5.
Sarah Dunning, CEO of the Westmorland Family, who own and operate the services, collected the award at a star-studded ceremony in London on Thursday, attended by celeb foodies Nigella Lawson and Nigel Slater.
Gloucester Services, which opened in May 2014, is the sister project of the Cumbrian-based Tebay Services and, just like its northern counterpart, is dedicated to local food and farming.
