SUCCESS tastes sweet for two Lake District chocolatiers.
Richard and Angela Barker, who run the Chocolate Cottage in Grasmere, scooped a national award for best business start-up.
Their delicacies are handmade each day from Belgian chocolate and fresh Lakeland cream, and are proving popular with locals, tourists and chocolate lovers further afield who buy online.
The Barkers received their accolade at the 2014 Celebrating Enterprise Awards, held at the House of Lords.
The awards are hosted by the Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurs, and the Small Firms Enterprise Development Initiative.
All the nominees for best business start-up gained backing from the Get Started fund to help their companies begin trading.
