NINE speakers have been confirmed for Insider's Doing Business in South Lakeland Breakfast 2015 on June 5 at the Laura Ashley Hotel, The Belsfield in Bowness.
The event will shine a spotlight on some key business issues facing South Lakeland and Cumbria, including how the region can capitalise on the Northern Powerhouse.
The nine speakers already confirmed are: Mark Cropper, chairman, James Cropper; Kate Willard, corporate affairs director and company secretary, Stobart Group; Adrian Rawlinson, managing director, Marl International, Ulverston; Lawrence Conway, chief executive, South Lakeland District Council; Professor Peter Strike, vice chancellor, University of Cumbria; Chris Fletcher, policy and marketing director, Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce; Grahame Latus, chief executive, Enterprise Answers; Adam Wellings, commercial director, AST Signs; Mark R Whitehead MBE, managing director, Hawkshead Relish.
The event, which is sponsored by South Lakeland District Council and Maple Grove Development, starts at 8.30am and finishes at 10.45am.
