A HISTORIC Lancashire home has been used as a photoshoot location for an international brand.

The impressive Leighton Hall was chosen as the location for Leatherman's newest product to be captured.

The UK distributor of the wearable Leatherman Tread multi-tool organised the use of Leighton Hall, with pictures taken by Kendal based photographer, Ian Wood.

Although the tool group is based in the United States, they wanted to use more UK focussed images in their marketing materials.

The quintessentially English setting of Leighton Hall, with its attractive gardens and impressive estate, perfectly fit the brief.

Also involved in the photoshoot was James Wright, the director of nearby Giggleswick summer schools, who acted as model for the day.

Lucy Arthurs from Leighton Hall said: "We always enjoy hosting product launches here at Leighton Hall and it was a real treat to have been asked to be part of the Leatherman Tread photoshoot.

"It’s always exciting to work with a world renowned brand and we felt that Leighton’s setting, along with the classic cars, made a perfect backdrop for this superb new product."
