REPRESENTATIVES of a South Lakeland company travelled to London to showcase its products to some of the capital’s finest architects and designers.

Holme-based KUDOS, which creates luxury glass wet rooms and showering enclosures, launched a fortnight-long pop-up showroom in the heart of Clerkenwell in Islington – an area famed as the UK’s key district for scores of architectural and interior design specialists.

The event aimed to show off KUDOS’ exclusive designs, but it also promoted the Lake District landscape through the company’s new branding which features Cumbrian backdrops.

The exclusive private view was created to appeal to architects and designers who specialise in high-end interior design for both corporate settings, such as boutique hotels, as well as private homes.

KUDOS has been designing and manufacturing its products in Cumbria since 1999.

David Gannon, KUDOS’ sales and marketing director, said: “This was our first showcase in London and one that I hope we can repeat.

“We chose Clerkenwell specifically because it is home to so many world-class architects and interior designers. The feedback from those who came to the private view or who met members of our team one-to-one was just brilliant."
