A TOP Windermere hotel has scooped another top national prize and been named UK Independent Hotel of the Year 2012.
Gilpin Hotel and Lake House owners were handed the gong at the hospitality industry’s Catey Awards at Grosvenor House in London by actress Joanna Lumley.
Gilpin Hotel’s owners, John and Christine Cunliffe, said: “It is an incredible honour to be given this recognition within the hotel industry and we are all absolutely thrilled with this special award.”
It completes a hat-trick of awards for the hotel, named AA Hotel of the Year for England 2011-2012.
