A SPATE of high value mountain bike thefts have taken place in Kendal this week.
Cumbria Police said the offenders have entered the back gardens and sheds of addresses on Rinkfield, Well Ings and Wordsworth Street overnight on June 11.
A force spokesman said: "We are appealing for information from people who have been offered bikes, or bike parts, for sale in suspicious circumstances.
"There is also an appeal for parents to come forward regarding any of their children having access to cheap bike parts."
Bikes stolen include:
• A Kona Blast Bicycle in black with green and white specks
• Blue and White Fuji Nevada 3.0
• Black Framed Carrera Titan DS 18 Mountain bike
• Black Framed Commencal Mountain Bike with “Meta 5.40” on frame and Rock Shox Front Suspension
