A PAIR of young men have been attacked in Kendal town centre.

The 23-year-olds were followed by two men, who pursued them along Kent Street and behind Burgundy’s Wine Bar, before pouncing on them on the Dowkers Lane car park.

The victims were punched and suffered facial injuries, before having a small amount of cash stolen from them.

The first of the attackers is described as white, around 5’9” and in his mid-20s. He was stockily built, had short cropped hair and was wearing a v-necked t-shirt and blue jeans.

The second mugger was white, around 6’2” and slim, wearing a blue or green zip-up hoodie.

Police are now urging anyone with information to contact them on 101.
