A NEW community charity bookshop called Clutterbooks has opened on Main Street in Sedbergh.
The new shop is an off-shoot of Clutterbooks and Clobber, also on Main Street, which, in five years, has received huge community support and raised more than £100,000 – much of which has already been invested in initiatives throughout Sedbergh, Dent and Garsdale.
Clutterbooks will operate under the auspices of the Sedbergh and District Community Information Office, a charity established to promote and support activities and projects which benefit the community.
Long-serving volunteer Ann Reed Screen cut the ribbon at the shop’s official opening.
