A KENDAL teenager has used his design skills to help create an exhibition which commemorates the town’s involvement in the First World War.
Stan McNulty, a Queen Katherine School pupil, stepped forward after a teacher asked for a volunteer to work on the display panels used in Kendal Town Council’s Great War display, which was officially opened on Monday.
The 16-year-old said: “The project helped me learn a lot about the war.
“I came across the very touching stories and it’s great that I’ve been able to help do this justice.”
Entry is free to the exhibition, which is open at Kendal Town Hall from 10am to 5pm until the end of next week.
Later in the summer it will move to Kendal Museum where it can be seen for around two months.
