The welcome goodie bags contain jars of jam
TWO Kendal churches are greeting new neighbours with welcome bags of goodies.
Sandylands Methodist Church and St George's Church are giving out bags of Fairtrade coffee, chocolate, home-made jam, biscuits and local leaflets to residents on two new housing estates, The Mart and Crag Close.
The churches said people had been thrilled by the warm welcome.
