Air ambulance at Reagill
EMERGENCY services rushed to the scene after an elderly man became trapped between a car and a building in Shap.
The victim, believed to be aged between 81-90, was airlifted to hospital in Newcastle with multiple life-threatening injuries, according to a statement from the Great North Air Ambulance crew.

It is believed the gentleman, from Reagill, was stabilised en route to the hospital, which was an 18 minute journey.
