DOG owners descended on Dalton-in-Furness for a sponsored two-mile Paws for Thought walk which raised around £1,500 for St Mary's Hospice at Ulverston on Sunday.
Fifty-eight dogs and their owners met in the Market Square and a large variety of different breeds of canine could be seen. The hospice has staged a number of Paws for Thought walks at Ulverston and Barrow as well as Dalton but this was the biggest turn out of walkers to date.
All the dogs, which ranged from Jack Russells to Golden Retrievers, were on their best behaviour and the walkers enjoyed the sunshine.
