Lakes parish councillors agreed a one per cent increase in council tax next year.
It will be the first rise in four years, bringing the annual precept to £94,100.

Finances and reserves are in a healthy state but with inflation rising, councillors agreed it would be foolish not to put council tax up next year by just one per cent to keep ahead of the game, rather than requiring a bigger increase all at once in future years.
