A JUNIOR member of Sedbergh School Chapel Choir performed at St Paul's Cathedral in London for the Diamond Fund concert and a Classic FM recording.
Amelia Horan, 14, who attends the Dales school with her elder brother James, was representing Ripon Cathedral. She is an accomplished chorister and was chosen to sing with one chorister from every cathedral in the country, including all of the St. Paul's choristers.
The Diamond Fund concert raised money to support the continuation of English choral music. In November Amelia won a place on the National Youth Choir of Great Britain.
Three pieces were recorded by the Cathedral Choristers of Britain and will be publicised by Classic FM around Easter time.
"It was an incredible experience and the first of its kind," said Amelia. "We were rehearsing for four hours and had to re-take the recording countless times."
