Kendal dog walk takes place tomorrow (Saturday) for good cause

A KENDAL resident is urging others to support a charity event.

Peter Emmett, of Shap Road, has organised a Go Walkies for Guide Dogs two-mile sponsored dog walk tomorrow (Saturday, April 28) at Abbott Hall Park, Kendal, starting at 10am.

Peter Emmett, 40, said: “I’m really hoping to get lots of support for my event. We have a number of guide dogs and puppies attending, and I hope to achieve over 40 dogs taking part.

"Please feel free to turn up to the event and get involved - the more the merrier”
