FILMING has begun for the second series of Lake District-set ITV drama Safe House.
The new series, due to air later this year, will reunite stars Christopher Eccleston and Marsha Thomason.
Last year ITV confirmed that former Doctor Who star Eccleston will lead a new four-part story about retired detective Robert who, unbeknownst to the local community, opens his Coniston home as a police safe house.
