DOG owners are being invited to a ‘barking-mad’ day out to help raise funds for an Ulverston charity.
St Mary’s Hospice has organised will host Paws for Thought, a sponsored walk for dogs, on Sunday (March 11) at 1.30pm and they are hoping 50 owners will come forward to put their pooch to the test.
The two mile stroll starts and ends at Market Place, in Dalton-in-Furness, and each dog will receive an award.
Zoe Guest, funding and operations manager, said: "Our new walk is an ideal opportunity for dog owners to get out with their pets and friends and family to enjoy a scenic walk and raise much needed funds for their local hospice.
"We'd like as many people to join in as possible.”
