AN ELDERLY man suffering from cardiac problems had to be flown to hospital yesterday (Thursday, February 2,) the Great North Air Ambulance Service has said.
GNAAS were called at 2.11pm yesterday to assist the man, in his 70s, near Kirkby Stephen.
He was assessed and treated by the GNAAS team before being flown to Carlisle's Cumberland Infirmary within 12 minutes. He arrived in a stable condition.
