A FAST-growing Cumbrian renewable energy company has announced plans to open across the UK in the next 12 months following a record-breaking year.

Eco Environments, which has an office in Penrith, increased turnover to £1.4million last year – a rise of 636per cent on the previous year – and has now set its sights on hitting the £5million mark within two years.

The company already operates six offices across the north of England, North Wales, and Midlands, but is planning to launch in the South East, East Anglia, and the South West, by this time next year.

It designs, installs, and commissions, a range of renewable energy and energy conservation solutions, specialising in Solar Photovoltaic (PV), wind turbines, and solar thermal water heating systems and heat pumps.
