A SOUTH Lakes hotel has won a global industry award for its website.
The Daffodil Hotel and Spa, Grasmere, and its web designers, Lancaster-based Fat Media Limited, were the only British companies to win gongs in the ‘hotel and lodging’ categories at the Internet Advertising Competition awards.
Other winners in the same category included the PGA Golf Resort in Florida and the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.
Laura Wolstenholme, marketing manager at the hotel, said: “We are delighted that our website has received such fantastic international recognition from the IAC.”
