THE Daffodil Hotel hosted the annual dinner of the village society, which was attended by more than 30 members. Chairman, Vivienne Rees, introduced president, Roy Formby, who welcomed everyone before handing over to vice-chairman, Nick McCraith, as MC. Vicky Hughes won afternoon tea for two (donated by the hotel) for the challenging quiz, and the raffle raised £118 for St Mary’s Hospice.
