The inaugural Sparkle Ball at the Daffodil Hotel in Grasmere raised more than £24,000 for charity.
Inspired by mum of three Andrea Batten-Gray, who sadly lost her battle with cancer earlier this year, the event was organised in her memory by her family and friends, nicknamed "Team Sparkle".
It was a fantastic evening with nearly 200 guests, wonderful food and great music.
The event raised £24,256 and the total is still rising. The money will be be split between The Teenage Cancer Trust (North West), The Christie Charitable Fund and St Mary's Hospice, Ulverston.
Team Sparkle wishes to thank all who attended and supported the event. The money raised will make a huge difference to local people and their families facing a cancer diagnosis.
