The Windermere ferry will be undergoing essential maintenance tomorrow and will not be in operation from 10am to 2pm.
Engineers will be working on the cable mechanism that pulls the vessel over Windermere.
Mallard, which can carry 18 cars and more than 100 passengers across England’s largest lake between Bowness and Far Sawrey, is owned and operated by Cumbria County Council.
