Shop front scheme extended to Sedbergh

SOUTH Lakeland District Council’s shop front improvement scheme has now been extended to Sedbergh.
The idea is to improve the frontages of businesses including shops, commercial and social enterprises to boost the appearance of the town.
Grants of up to £250 are available towards improvements – from minor jobs like painting shop fronts to more substantial work involving repair of stonework and render and replacement of windows and doors.
