CUMBRIA is taking part in the UK Youth Parliament elections for the first time.
Nearly 40 young children across the county are running the elections for the three MYP (member of youth parliament) seats and three Deputy MYP posts.
The elections will be held through an online ballot from December 8-12 and the results will be announced on the December 13 at an event at County Hall in Kendal.
