Lancaster and Morecambe College has met UK expectations in a recent assessment.
The Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) reviewed the college and found that the academic and pastoral support on offer 'enhances the learning experience and achievement for all students'.
Catherine Huddleston, lead student representative at the college, said: "All the higher education students feel really pleased that QAA have recognised how good LMC is and how much support there is for students. LMC is small enough to care, and big enough to really help us prepare for going into real careers."
